If you were hankering for an eyesore then you obviously met the challenge of using a cellphone to update a ssl certificate with a smartphone. Download two programs from the google play store:
1.terminus
2.notepad
3.hackers keyboard
The problem is usually that it cant because the mail system is not working. And the key board is out of reach. so after installing the “hackers keybord” quickly click on settings. Select the five row. Click enable keyboard. Now diselect google and anything else but to highlight only the hackers keyboard. position the cursor over the test text. You should see it by ctrl or alt key. Convient eh? Not so fast.. lol
Make a new request with the old key.
openssl req -new -newkey rsa:2048 -nodes -key weedbox.key -out dh.csr
Copy the contents of dh.csr to the certificate person.
ssh to your server and install postfix
apt-get install postfix
Cutting and pasting commands is easy but not practcal..you can create a very volitile termoil by frustrating the entire process. But I wont. Or I rather, I try anyday now. Very terrible. Anyway
find / -name “master.cf”
vi /etc/postfix/master.cf
Press the ESC key
Type :ins
Type: smtp inet n – n – – smtpd Strike CTRL – C
Press the ESC key
Type: wq!
Type vi /etc/postfix/main.cf
Press the ESC key
Type :ins
Paste this in:
mydomain = weedbox.net myhostname = $mydomain virtual_alias_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/virtual
alias_database = hash:/etc/postfix/virtual
myorigin = /etc/mailname mydestination = localhost.localdomain localhost $mydomain relayhost = mynetworks = 45.79.78.0/32 127.0.0.0/8 [::ffff:127.0.0.0]/104 [::1]/128 mailbox_size_limit = 0 recipient_delimiter = + inet_interfaces = all
Type: Ctrl c
Type: esc
Type: wq!
Type: vi /etc/aliases
The format should be
clamav: root
The idea being.. the alias postmaster is viable such that it is typically available for selection. But since postfix is postfix it is deferred by postfix. Importantly.
Type: cd /var/spool/mail
Type:
ls -R
There should be a mail there but which one is it?
postfix restart
tail -f /var/log/syslog
6031C11EE0B: to=, relay=local, delay=0.31, delays=0.25/0.03/0/0.03, dsn=4.3.0, st atus=deferred (alias database unavailable)
ITS THAT ONE .. so look for 6031 and read the contents. Stop the mail server. lol You get a fancy combination characters for an ssl certificate.
